The Green Weed Spokesperson

" ~~~ will live like a weed that perseveres through everything rather than a flower that withers away quickly."
-Big Bang T.O.P

It was back in 2009 when I heard this quotes from one Korean artist during their acceptance speech. Five years later i was greatly reminded of it by a certain friend. If not always, often times I associate my friends to a certain element of nature that reminds me of them. Well, the primary reason for that is I'm not good at giving messages face to face.I would rather write a long message on a paper rather than relaying my message face to face.

This may be a little late but as they say it is better late than never. We already held a surprise birthday party for her but my heart says that there is still a need to do this. It is simply because she is worth honoring.

So what is the connection of that weed to this person? I'm not pertaining to weed that is used illegally but rather to a weed that adorns the vast green fields of nature. Yes, a grass in other words. A landscape architecture will never be finished without that green leafy thing that highlights the beauty of the other elements. And like those there is this certain spokesperson that highlights every flower. So you had read about the Governor, the General Secretary and the First Daughter, now it is our spokesperson turn to be in the lime light.

A spokesperson is someone who speaks in behalf of the others. She ensures that an announcements are made in the appropriate channels to maximize the impact of favorable messages and to minimize the impact of unfavorable messages. Like that of any spokesperson, Che-Anne Roxas or Ate Che-Anne to me is our very own spokesperson.

Fashioned with knowledge and guidance, Ate Che-anne certainly knows how to deliver a message in a way that will be most understandable and will impact other people's lives.  She is one of God's spokesperson that delivers the message of faith and grace that bound to influence others. Also, like that green weeds that when cut, just grows wider and stronger. Her uncanny sense of leadership and ownership is admirable enough to be in that certain position that when asked by a not so-expected question she knows how to answer it without having a blink of an eye.

To the weed that will certainly grow and preserve like a wide vast of green fields in the mountain, I want to greet you another Happy Birthday! I still remember the time when were giving honor to one of our small group member when you asked me "Ano kaya i-title mo sa akin?". And here it is! ^_^
